2011 Annual Appeal

This year our Annual Appeal is focused on increasing our capacity to manage our growing collections.

For 45 years, the Historical Society has worked to promote the rich history of the South End and to preserve its architectural integrity through advocacy, education and documentation. During the last year, several generous donations have added valuable material to our collection. Among items received are over one hundred cabinet cards and photographs detailing the life of a late nineteenth and mid-twentieth century family. To preserve items in our care, we must upgrade our collections database software and invest in improved storage and a more efficient indexing system.
